PC RECYCLING/RECLAMATION SERVICES

We have partners and four large warehouses dedicated solely to proper recycling and reclamation of any types of computer equipment.  The EPA has stringent guidelines on the proper disposal of not only computer monitors, but printers, central processing units, etc. as they contain hazardous materials such as ozone depleting gases and mercury.

We typically receive several pallets of off-lease equipment from companies all over the country, but will accept single pieces of equipment as well. 

Simply package your equipment and ship via UPS, USPS, DHL, Federal Express, or any LTL Trucking Company to the address below.  If you are shipping equipment by the pallet, please email us at recycle@usvdv.com with a brief description of what the equipment is and when you expect to be delivered.  We have two loading docks dedicated solely to receiving any shipment for recycling.  We are doing our part to protect Mother Nature, and appreciate your involvement in our recycling program.

HERE IS ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON RECYCLING:

From privacy issues to the EPA, when a computer leaves your company it can become a serious risk for your business. We shield your company from liability and insulate you and your company from these risks.

• We actually take title to your equipment. Your equipment becomes our equipment and it’s no longer your responsibility. 

• Any Central Processing Unit Hard Drives are cleaned of all data, sanitized or destroyed.

• Any of your Asset tags are removed that may identify you as the original equipment’s owner.

• All equipment is disposed of in accordance with all Federal and State environmental laws, particularly those set by the EPA.

• We send you a Certificate of Disposal providing evidence of disposal services performed.

• All Services are HIPAA compliant.

Did you know that implementing an in-house computer disposal program can cost more than $400 per computer? USVDV can properly dispose of your computer hardware for a fraction of what it would cost to do it yourself.

Other computer recycling companies will charge you for the disposal of your equipment.  USVDV is the first to offer disposal at no charge.

HERE IS A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ALL OUR RECYCLE SERVICES:

Improper disposal of computer equipment can expose a company to various risks. PC Disposal properly retires computer hardware and takes special steps in the areas of security, legal compliance and accountability. PC Disposal will:

• Pick up equipment directly from your loading dock or receive shipments via UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL or LTL Trucking Companies. 

• Thoroughly erase all data from hard disks. This protects against software licensing infringement and loss of sensitive information.

• Dispose of equipment according to state and federal environmental laws.

• Provide a certified report detailing the services performed and confirming software removal, listed by hardware serial number.

• All Services are HIPAA compliant.

The time and effort required to prepare computer systems for donation can often offset any tax advantages. USVDV can cost-effectively facilitate the steps necessary to donate your equipment and will even deliver or ship the systems to the school or charity of your choice. USVDV will:

• Pick up equipment directly from your loading dock if local, or receive via any shipping method.

• Thoroughly erase all data from hard disks.

• Load new operating systems if necessary.

• Provide detailed documentation of the disposition of each piece of equipment, listed by hardware serial number.

• Deliver equipment to your school or charity, or they can pick up equipment from our location.

USVDV can make your employee purchase program hassle-free. Your employees will be able to log on to our Web site with a username and password to purchase retired equipment. All systems for sale are thoroughly tested and have a thirty (30) day limited warranty. Your equipment is put on your company’s area of our Web site for a period of sixty (60) days and we refund a percentage of the sales back to you.

This service is not strictly limited to information technology (IT) assets. If you are interested in offering other assets to your employees, please contact your USVDV representative.

Are you planning on handing down your older computer systems to end users in other departments? This may sound like a good idea, but spending time preparing and upgrading the old computers can often cost as must a purchasing new ones. USVDV can make hardware redeployment cost-effective. Our services include:

• Reformat hard disk.

• General cleaning of hardware and monitor.

• General system checkout.

• Upgrade of hard disk, RAM, network card and operating system (if required).

• Pickup and delivery.

A thirty (30) day limited warranty is assigned. Additional service contracts are available upon request. In addition, storage is provided free of charge for up to three months on redeployment projects. Shipping and handling are also available.

9/25/08  USVDV announced today that the Madison Avenue Entrance is now complete.  The new easy access address is 1425 Madison Avenue, with direct access to a new expanded will call counter.  The new counter area allows for easier access with a 100 vehicle parking lot, and a 16Ft door for easy loading and unloading of products and orders!  Stop in today for the tour, and get ready for our upcoming open house to be announced!

3/1/08  USVDV announced today that a brand new retail storefront and will call counter is now being created on the Madison Avenue side of the building for easier access from I-71/I-75.  With the recent installation of a new 10'W x 16'H Door, USVDV will be able to load up customer orders directly from the Madison Avenue entrance.
